Throughout his career, Sean Doolittle has been a role model both on the field and in the community. From spending time with Scholar Athletes at the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy to supporting Nationals NIGHT OUT, Doolittle champions causes that lift up D.C. residents and embodies what it means to be #Nats4Good.
In recognition of his commitment to club and community, Washington Nationals Philanthropies teamed up with Doolittle to raise funds and awareness for SMYAL, an organization supported by Dolittle and his wife, Eireann. In honor of #63, Nationals Philanthropies matched donations up to $6,300. Together, we were able to exceed that match, celebrating Doolittle’s legacy of philanthropy by granting over $12,600 to SMYAL and the local youth they serve.
